I’ve known since I was little girl that there was something really wrong with the way people were living their lives.  I couldn’t put my finger on the totality of it, but I knew one thing for certain, that our participation in war was ludicrous.   I just knew if I could talk to those silly grown-ups and get them to listen, they would realize what they were doing and certainly STOP!  But the adults never really listened to children or gave their opinions and intuitions much validity, as children couldn’t possibly know the complexities and mandatory ways of the world.

Kristin Brooks of the Bhakti House Band (one of my favorite bands) also says she felt the calling to raise awareness of the love that life could be--hence the creation of this original Bhakti House Band song, which also speaks to me on many levels.

I’ve since met many veterans, including being once married to one, who have awakened to what is really happening in the war reality, and how we are basically destroying people’s lives across the globe for the control agenda of a few.  Many men and women who have played their role in service are realizing and speaking out about how they were lied to, coerced and manipulated into participating in the killing of their fellow beings.  It’s a deep rabbit hole that is just one facet of the destructive and inhumane reality we are living.
