I 'identify' with this entirely. As an online pseudonym who would like to get out and make a change through peaceful means, I am restricted by the unawareness of the law held by law enforcement.
Officers are not required to know the law and will get a slap on the hand for a faulty arrest. Revealing my identity is of little cost to them.
