The problem I have with 3D printed guns is they have a limited life due to the material. The really bad problem is that you won't really know how long that life is until, maybe, you get hurt. Otherwise, I life the idea of our ability to have a more uncensored life and more freedom of choice.

that's a good point, the liberator is not really a very good gun, it would be easy to make a better gun at home, the whole point of it is just to test the laws. There is a desktop CNC milling machine that you can get now that can finish metal 80% lowers, but of course you still have to be able to legally possess whatever gun you make for it to be legal.
