Welcome to Freedom..
Days here are constantly feeling like a Sunday and saying "Good Morning" at 2pm, is normal. All the residents have plenty of money and work to live instead of living to work and because they have built themselves a home, this means they have more time and freedom to enjoy life.
I am very used to this scene of various vehicles and wagons being turned into homes and placed offgrid in the nature, and it feels much more homely to me than blocks of apartments or rows of houses do.
I took a walk earlier with the dogs and came to the edge of the plot of land, and my guess is that it is easily 1km squared. I've seen around 50 homes, some not in use it seems and others still in construction dotted around.
There are at a guess 80 adults here and maybe up to 20 children ranging from all ages. Because some of the first people to live here since it began 50years ago, obviously they are now around 70 years of age so there are all generations here.
I think this is the first place I have been to where the people are all friendly and inquisitive and usually theres one person who has a problem with me, but so far not.
I was sat at the bar and a guy I call Saffa came and brought me a plate of really nice foods he made for his family. I had asked him earlier to tell me if he has any small jobs to do as I need an income to stay here and he is always wanting a babysitter he said.
The person sat next to me said, as I got the plate of food : "There's a lot of good people here and we look after each other."
All the people so far have said they are either an artist or musician, or working online video editing and such, and most of course get unemployment benefits.
There are of course people here with social problems or mental health inbalances, but that's quite normal in this scene. Some have deformaties and or life long sicknesses and live away from the places they dont seem to fit into like society or a normal job.
Some also have heavy traumas from the past, leaving them unable to cope with everyday life and find it easier to be among other outcasts and "freaks".
I did ask why there is no vegetables or animals being farmed, and a guitarist I been talking to said that there used to be food grown here but then money started to arrive from tourists and weed and everyone got kind of lazy. Quite understandable I think.
Tomorrow I might be helping someone demolish their old home and if not I will ride the bike to a place called Thisted.
Theres a chance it will be delayed and we had sunny days lately so maybe tomorrow is the same and I will go explore and hope to dumpsterdive too 😎 First I should check how far away it is though maybe haha!

This village is just something incredible! This is just my dream! Since childhood, I dreamed about this!!!
I have some ideas how to make money there.
You can upgrade your bike and attach a wheelchair with wheels to it. It will be something like a rickshaw to take people to the city.
You can also attach a motorcycle stroller to a bicycle and bring people from the city goods that they need in the village.

Thats a great Idea! It just needs to be adapted to taking tourists around the place here because the nearest village is 27km away and the city is over 70km away 🤣

There is a special motor wheel for a bicycle with a battery. It can reach speeds of about 40 km per hour or more. I asked other people about this and they say that it is really powerful. This will allow the transportation of goods.
You can attach a motorcycle stroller to such a bicycle and carry a backpack, tent and everything else. Maybe I'll do it myself someday))
