Video: Voter Suppression/Open Carry

in freedom •  7 years ago

During the 2016 Presidential Election, ballot workers attempted to deny me a paper ballot. I got my paper ballot. Later, when my girlfriend attempted to vote with a paper ballot, she was denied by ballot workers and forced to use the electronic voting machine. I attempted to get the police to enforce the law but they refused and kicked me out of the public building for openly carrying a firearm. I complied, though the request was illegal, and returned later with the state statute proving I was well within my legal rights. I took the initiative to inform the ballot workers that they must hand out paper ballots when requested per federal law.
