Today it is taken up to another level (gender neutral ) and it is not going to end well.

Living in one of the many stomachs of this SoJo beast (Toronto), I can tell you that my observations affirm your statement. I'm not sure if Humanity will wake up in 5 years... even with another huge finaicial crisis (which is 100% going to happen). It woke up some before, but I don't think it'll wake up enough. The First World is too... there are many adjectives to use here... but for now, I like ingrained.

Science is Religion 2.0. It's going to take a long time before it gets over itself and does what Nature has known since forever.
