You know the answer. It's Africa, of coarse. Much more exciting. Portugal is beautiful, but sometimes hard to find people. In Morrocco you will have no trouble finding people and adventures. Still cold over there though. Be prepared for blocked roads due to snow, floods, sandstorms and sunshine too. Head south and all shall be well.
