Hello Steemian firstly I want to wish you a happy forth of July Independence day 1776 in 2017.
Hope you managed to celebrate the day as many hang out their flags go to a local parade enjoy a picnic have a BBQ at home and perhaps during the night see the fireworks on display.

Now while all that is awesome there is still one more reason to celebrate especially for us steemians basically some may know that it was this time last year that the Steem rewards pool was switched on.
And it was this time last year that for those in early enough steem began affecting their lives.
For some it was money for others it was friendships, I am also in hope that in the future steem can bring me more independence.

like you rightly said, Different people have different notions for signing up to Steemit but i know for some of us, it may be multiple reason and on a good intentions. In everything, we all celebrate for we are all steemians and enjoy your time.
