Paine had a great style of writing that makes it more accessible. A lot of older writings use language that can be harder to understand today.

I agree completely, One of the source materials I used, Paine and Jefferson on Liberty, Lloyd Kramer, compares the two men. Although I love Jefferson, Paine is much easier to read. That is certainly what, both then and now, makes his words so powerful.
