Still age doesn't matter when it comes to build the world we wanna live in. Youth provides us with energy, but age empowers us to become wise people.
Look at the skateboarder in the picture, study his posture and the expression on his face: everything in his conduct shows pure conviction. His agility makes him courageous.
However, he'll need to fall down on his knees and elbows a couple of times more, stand up again and learn the lesson in order to get on the real track of life.
That's how it works.
It's as simple as that: As long as we're believing in something, creating our own paramount vision and following its route, we'll have everything we need to live the life of our dreams.
Then even falling on elbows won't actually make us suffer for too long.

I have no kids yet, but I remember how it was when my little brothers grew up (I am 9 years older). We were always in-between letting them fly and wanting to assure they don't fall. In the end they fell a couple of times - but it was all good for their personal development. Life's no walk in the park, so they need to learn their lessons and prepare themselves for whatever.

Our though matter if Albert Einstein could have thought that i am wrong i couldn't, not even passed of exam. Then could he done things that he had, i surely no. I have the biggest of respect for young people who already see the shortcomings of the world we live in, which they take part in and come with (long and short term) solutions. It's proof to me that they care, and of course they bumb their head too, and sometimes harder than other times. But eventually they will make a change and difference on this planet... When you grow older, I have to admit myself, the urge weakens...While it shouldnt be.... platforms like Steemit gathers all those people (often) which makes you realize "You are never to young or old to change the world" .... Neither too young; nor too old... neither too small; nor too big. Good message.
Changing the world perhaps begins with a point of conviction, a person sees something that might be changed for the better, and they have the conviction that what they perceive has value to the world. And the falls and scrapes?
Just watch a cat! The cat makes an "impossible" jump from the floor to the top of the refrigerator. It has conviction. Even if it falls, it circles back around and tries the jump again, perhaps from a slightly different angle. That is what humans must strive for, as well.
