This book was the book that caused me to face the facts, I am a communist.
This book planted the seeds that made it possible for me to realize that the workers do all the work, sell that work to crapitalusts for the lowest wages in the market, then use those wages to buy back their work at a loss so the crapitalusts can 'profit'.
This is insanity.
We do all the work, but the crapitalusts reap all the rewards?
We do all the work, they live in opulence while we live in trailer parks?
Really?
Why wouldn't we just keep doing the work, divide it equally amongst ourselves, and share the leisure that results?
The blockchain can track our production and consumption.
As long as we are on track to meet our minimums we should be able to order what ever we want from the blockchain.
If we are not on track to produce a little more than we have consumed then the blockchain can remind us to restrict our consumption, but never less than food, clothing, and shelter.
The various parameters can be established by mutual consent.
If you agree to meet the minimum of X number of units of production then you should be free to have whatever produced goods you need to be happy.
There will be plenty of people that will excel and produce far more than they consume.
This is good for us all.
Imagine if Steve Jobs hadn't made his first personal computer.
How do you value the infinite efficiency savings that can be credited to this work?
Dollars? Really?
Debt currency? Gee, thanks.

Yes, freedom is not a new idea.
It's just new to the slaves that had mind control passed to them as education.
