Free Masons The symbol of the Coffin - Hiram Abiff, the Man in the Box

Hiram Abiff's story changes but one thing stay the same, he died for Free Masonry. He is revered by all sects because he was the first man to sacrifice his life to keep the secrets of the fraternity to his grave.

His impact on the symbology of FM can be see multiple times in the picture above.

The black and white tiled floor of King Solomon's temple were said to be laid by him.

The secret words to be spoken by masons at the pillars would grant them passage through them, non masons tortured him to death to gain those secrets.

The branch of the acacia was used by his murderers to mark where they hurriedly buried Abiff and was later found by his fellow masons.

The coffin that he was laid into after being exhumed was laid at the feet of Solomon's temple for all to see.

Hiram Abiif is not just revered for being the first sacrifice of Free Masonry, it it said that he above all others was the grand architect of the temple itself. That was why he was targeted for murder, he knew more of mason's secrets than anyone else at the time. His ability to mold stone was seen as divine.

From the Luciferian's perspective his death is seen as the first blow of the ignorant against the enlightened and in death Abiff has been elevated to the level of a Saint.

All of these secrets are revealed during the Master Mason ceremony and that's where things can be seen as morbid. Some lodges have been known to reenact the whole story and have the Initiate play the role of Abiff. Mock stabbings and even burying pledges alive has been know to happen to shocking degrees. The message is straight forward though, betray the secrets we reveal to you and you will wish you got the death of Hiram Abiff. It is better to die the way he did than what we will do to you comes across loud and clear when you are The Man in the Box.
