Milo Yiannopoulos got banned from Twitter

This is one of the reasons why we need Steem.

After a shitstorm the ban was lifted, but it still made a lot of people pissed of.

Steem is perfect for those who are under constant threat of censorship. Steem is built on a blockchain so there is no central authority that can remove people who they don't happen like. When something is on the blockchain, it will stay there forever.

Steem will become an important tool for all journalists, whistleblowers, political activists, etc. who need a platform that they can totally trust. Steem will spread the message instantly all over the world.

How do we actually access the blockchain outside of steemit.com?

  ·  8 years ago (edited)

currently u would have to install the client from source ..
https://github.com/steemit/steem

guess soon it will be a lot easier ..hopefully steem dev team will build some light clients

Besides client software I'm quite sure there will be other website interfaces.

I don't know about Milo, but I don't like that Gavin guy. Someone posted a video of him interviewing Trump protesters and he came off like a fascist creep, going as far as maliciously implying a threat to his interviewee's physical safety to intimidate him.

I haven't seen Gavin before. But after what he did yesterday I have to say he seems to be a great person.

Maybe he's closeted.

His sudden irrational anger and threat towards a bisexual person in the video I mentioned (watch?v=xRoIQEsjDds on youtube if you're curious) might suggest he's one of those self-hating bisexual/homosexuals.
