Hello, all of you voluntary associates. My name is Steve Floyd, and it has been a tumultuous 7 months for me. I joined Steemit in August 2016, intending to do some writing along the way, but in October I was fired from my position at a local radio station because I openly questioned the tactics of the local police. PART of a two-hour program I did was EDITED and posted on the bluelivesmatter website and made me sound like a jerk. Maybe I AM one. But I got death threats from police (and their supporters) around the country and was fired, as the radio station "decided to go in a different direction."
Since then, I have built my own studio and have become a freelancer, doing voice work for whoever wants it, translations as appropriate (I speak Russian, French, Spanish & Serbo-Croatian), AND doing a daily podcast. I invite you to visit my website, www.radiofreespeech.com
