Moving In — SteemCN

They'd arrived on Christmas Eve,
creeping quietly in the night.
Carrying cases and bundles,
seeking a home warm and bright.
Never would they find
a home with more flair.
It was perfect, they thought,
to escape the cold air.

There were windows, there were tunnels,
and a library to boot!
The people seemed nice,
like the one who went 'woot'!

A ruckus went up
and they heard a few yells.
Which drowned out the jingle
of Santa-Bot's bells.

They scurried along
as the clamoring ended.
Along the hall in the dark,
past a living room most splendid.

Then they saw a problem,
they'd not thought of a cat.
Who lay looking stylish
in her bright pink top-hat.

She winked at the mice,
sweet and pleasant, not rude.
Her housemates were friends,
not toys and not food.

The mice joyfully cheered,
no longer they'd roam.
The Steemkeepers House,
was now their new home!

Mice, I don't know what colors they are though. (I hope they don't mind the squirrels...) Don't worry, these furry fellows seem like they'll be the quiet sort of housemates.
