How long has steem been around for? a couple of years now and people still think this is going to be web 3.0 or whatever people call it these days.
I think the idea around it is reasonable but I don't think this will last long term and will probably be replaced by somthing better, social media itself causes a lot of noise that mostly isn't useful.
I think we are just going to have to wait and see what people create.
