In the quest for wealth,fame and power
We oppress the poor and take advantage
of their situations to rob them
What happened to empathy,humanity
and a tiny bit of pity for the weak
In the quest to have it all, we have lost
our core values
We have thrown it to the wind
Get it back and set it right
Remember all is vanity
To this world we came holding not a pin
To it we shall leave, taking not a penny

Vanity! Vanity! Every wordly possessions is vanity. Money, power, fame everything, but man holds on tightly hoping never to let go, in the end. Death will come and man is left with nothing just as he came.
This is an insightful and awakening piece of poetry. Reminding us of the dangers of holding on to worldly possessions. Thanks for sharing this post @esttyb
