The ferris wheel reached up past the clouds. At the top, Billy proposed to Willy. The sun rose at precisely the moment Willy said yes. She cupped her hands around her mouth and hollered "yes!" to the seagulls flying past.
At the bottom, their pastor smiled. Billy had invited her just in case, so that they could be married immediately. Billy was so excited to get married that she had packed a wedding veil in her fanny pack. She took it out, put it on and asked, "now? Pastor Cassie is waiting at the bottom, and so is your mom and my folks."
Willy, though still stunned, was willing.
