I almost forgot it was Monday because instead of coming straight home after reading to kids (I read books to kids in elementary school as part of the BookPALS volunteer program on Monday mornings), I went to a doctor appointment with my wife for her routine, "How's the baby doing?" visit. We also tried a new restaurant for lunch. Then I though I was going to hop on as soon as we got home, but we started the hard, much harder than it should be, work of trying to organize our home and get rid of stuff we don't need. So that took an extra few hours, and I just thought to myself, OH! I need to do my freewrite. But then it occurred to me, finally, that I was forgetting the OTHER, thing I do on Mondays. So Monday's Pun Day Monday is coming!
