The wild cabbage got moldy, and then it was a woolly wild cabbage. It rotted so much that it was no longer a distinct cabbage. Then it was just Wild and Woolly!
I'm Wild and Woolly. In that I'm pretty kooky and also I have a beard. Hey, you know who else has a beard?
Abraham Lincoln. They said he'd get real wild at the courthouse. He'd stand on chairs and things and you know get passionate.
Was there any way that what I just said might be true? I was starting to just make things up, but then I realized that it might be true. Also, apparently he had an unpleasant voice. But I feel like I read a lot of things about people being ugly or sounding bad or whatever... like, things where we can't look at photos or hear the actual sounds they made. Maybe people were just rude when they wrote about people back then. Is that a thing? Were only fictional characters beautiful, and actual people were all unappealing and/or is that just what people wrote about? Were standards of beauty as absurd then as now, and so only fictional people could meet those standards? OOOO
I wonder if there's any analysis that could usefully be done to refute or support that theory.
I'm sure someone can do the analysis. 😁
