When the plane landed, Matilda trundled out along with the other passengers. She didn't have too much to carry, just her laptop bag and the two books she should have read on the journey. But hadn't.

She was still feeling nervous, but she knew that she would just have to face whatever came her way. She knew it would be okay. No matter what. It's not as if Mike would be able to stay silent forever.

Once she had made her way through the baggage reclaim area she took a deep breath and made her way out of the terminal. This is where she would know once and for all whether Mike was still holding a grudge, or if enough time had passed for him to get over his upset.

The doors opened, she scanned the sea of faces searching out the only one she was interested in. He was there. He wasn't smiling and he had seen her. But he was there.

She moved a step faster and began to approach him. Time to force the smile. "Hey, Mike! You're here. I wasn't sure." A nervous giggle escaped her. She hadn't expected that.

"Of course, I'm here." He said and handed her a small gift. "How could I ignore my most favourite publicist? I wanted to get you perfume, but I hope you like what's inside even more."

Bit by bit, with the prompts from #freewrite and only 5 minutes on the clock, I am beginning to write a longer story. If you are interested in seeing how this story is developing you can check out the links below. This is a totally new experience for me and I am having a lot of fun writing in this way. No planning, no direction, just a prompt and a crazy app that makes you write.

Thank you @iamjadeline, I will be using your link and writing the next instalment in just a few swishes of a puppy dog's tail. :)

Uncle Bruni just got in from playing poker, so I checked to see if you wrote a #freewrite tonight, and you made me happy. Thank you. 💕
