A Curse, Humane Hollywood Initiatives

Is something that comes to you in the night, like owl eyes and that vision of your father the one you’ve seen one million times, his yellowed teeth crooked in their closeness.

As he drives, your long legs are stretched onto the dash and you are picking, peeling despite the tug around white hairs and the accidental rolling red of blood, the scabs from your tanned skin.

Like the razor-bladed skiffs up the shins, but these are about the entire band and there may not be a white and dusty McDonald’s napkin in the glovebox to press into the flesh,

to leave some fibers to be crusted and grown over, and getting ready for your next date, you’ll be picking again, embarrassed that you’ve got permanent toilet paper, anemone fashion starring from your ankle.

You will see this just as you’re painting your dirty black nails Tahitian coral, slopping the brush around the baby piggy to form the resemblance of a nail that really isn’t a nail at all.

Voodoo dolls have pins and you’ve stuck the China men who line the now combined through tied knot, sunny-strawberry-maiden mice pin cushion’s that are thrown haphazardly into the basket sewing kit,

but never once,

could you have imagined that Tarantino would years later have the bounty hunter like the Burger King master flame throw a screaming Asian woman, after a pit ferociously bites her face off.

When the credits roll there is no mention of actors or extra’s (the disposable humans) safety, just an end credit certification from the American Human Society insuring the pet received rigorous care,

that no deserving animal was injured, harmed or overworked on the large-scale production of murder reassigned and redirected,

but my Daddy served, was forever swerved in 1969’s Vietnam.

Let’s keep our blondes.

And, there is a very long, sexy scene of her going to watch herself wearing the checkerboard of black and white, her hair the final topper that you’ve mentioned as their signature move.

And, this time, even you, were subdued by her soft, smiling lips.

I've missed your musings. "Curse" was a prompt I even didn't want to try, but here you are, and it's a perfect prompt for you.
Yes we demand reassurances about the safety of animals, but few care about the human injuries or traumas especially, it seems these days, about the injuries and traumas sustained in war. Love that you used the word "swerved" here.

Thanks! Just checked in and went with it. I'm not sure where it will go in the five and just trust somewhere, so I'm happy it worked :) A movie and symbolic messages I'm still considering and pondering.
