Yummy, I thought as I licked my fingers and nails clean and pushed my chair away from the table. Dinner had been just as delicious as the day before. Some food is better if you just let it sit in the fridge overnight.
It had been a while since I had eaten and my stomach rumbled from having enough food to digest for the nest week, at least, or so it seemed. A full tummy made for a sleepy me and, even though it was early, I figured I'd go ahead and get a few hours of sleep.
After all, tonight was going to be one of those nights.
When I awoke, the full moon light was shining through the window and I had already changed. I didn't know of any other werewolf who could shift in their sleep, but my mother had made sure that my littermates and myself could have slept through anything.
Even that.
