The "Imaginary Friend": 5 Minute Freewrite, Prompt: toothache

in freewrite •  7 years ago

cave-entrance.jpgPhymera idly picked at the scar on her foot where the latest "heroic" knight had attempted to dramatically defeat her, never mind the fact that she was at least 12 times the size of any human. They just kept coming, they felt the need to "rescue" "Princess Piper" from the "awful beast".

She paused her writing, wondering if she was using these quotation marks correctly, she never really understood human runes.

Besides, the princess had come to her, her childhood "imaginary friend" once she had discovered her father had arranged a marriage with that horrible prince from a couple kingdoms over. She still had a toothache from chewing through that "Brave Prince's" armor. Perhaps she should have just roasted him instead.

I kinda want to see you take this story and flesh it out to a longer story... I bet you could make quite the hilarious, intriguing adventure story out of it!

HA! I would have gone with the roasting :D

It seems to me that any Prince in armor needs to be roasted over an open flame, how else are you going to test their metal? 🤔

Welcome to freewrite, you're off to a good start!

Raw prince may have more nutrients but, roasted prince probably tastes better. Nice story, thank you!

she should have peeled him out of the armor - and roasted knights are tastier! that is a fact!! lol
