Hello guys, @mannyz here. I happen to be participating in today's freewrite by @mariannewest. If you wish to know what the freewrite is about click here
Sometime two years ago in med school, I had a next door neighbour, Mike. Mike was rarely around. I could count the number of times he was in his room (even when we were preparing for exams).
Something happened one night. I was reading in my room when I heard sounds, so much like animal noise. I became frightened, I'm not so used to such noise, especially when I hear them at night.
I was so sure it came from Mike's room. I, then, summoned courage to go check what happened. Firstly, Mike's shoes weren't outside his door, a sign that he definitely not around. I didn't knock because his door was half open. On his mattress I saw human bones, lots of them. You know, the funny part of the story is that I was so scared that I needed to be convinced that the noise was normal and what made the sound isn't extraordinary (you know that feeling).
So, I foolishly went back to my room. But "skeletons don't make sounds" was what rushed to my mind. I went back to Mike's room, this time boldly.
Nice art
