Artichokes - 5 Minute Freewrite Day 139

Artichokes are full of thorns and very hard to chew. They can be sour and usually need to be cured a lot and left in water with lemon juice for many hours before they can be eaten. They are nasty vegetables. I wonder how humans ever thought about artichokes as a food the first time they saw them...and how many tentatives before they discovered the way to soften them up a little. I love artichokes but they make me fart a lot... lol, I imagine Snook commenting I swore again!
For once, I wanted to return to the true freewrite. Open the Most Dangerous App and write, directly in English, a bad, non controlled English, for five minutes without stopping. Writing about artichokes
