Ever had that feeling that people wouldn't want you around for who you are, that you need to have something to remove that ugly face of yours, that you need to wear a mask everyday for people to like you?
People these days prefers to wear a mask that hides their real face, their real thoughts, their real feelings, just for their friend's to be around them.
this is mostly for people who have depression but that doesn't mean people who wear these masks have depression, they probably don't want to reveal parts about themselves to the people they want to be around with.
So. how do we deal with the mask and show who we are?
- Accept yourself
Flaws and all of that, you are who you are.
don't let people tell you who you should be, the good and bad things about you tells who you really are.
- don't judge others
While judging the flaws of others, it can reflect back on you.
just as the first tip, try to accept others the way they are.
- Stept out of you comfort zone
Taking out the mask will take time.
if you do things that you are afraid of, your comfort zone expands and less time you'll have in taking out the mask.
I know it will be uncomfortable, but you'll feel better.
- Don't go too far
You can talk with your friends, mom, siblings about your deepest dark secrets, but don't start telling the taxi driver about how bad your fingers hurt.
And that's it for now, hope you enjoyed this post.
