A Story About A Stitch And A Witch 8: Portal

“I want to see those beautiful green hills again. Can we go again tomorrow?” asked Rick.

Rick is a needle, brought to life by a witch, who was bored one evening.

“We will go on Saturday,” replied Georgie, “Hopefully the weather will be nice “

It is now Saturday morning and the weather is as nice as Georgie had hoped.

“Did you have something to do with the weather being nice?” asked Rick.

“No.”

“Are we going by portal again?” asked Rick.

“No. I have no time for party tricks.”

“So, how will we get there?”

“We'll go by car.”

They drove to the hills. This time, it was for real. They could spend a few hours admiring the beauty of the land.

“So beautiful,” said Rick.

“Is this the first time you've seen hills like this?” asked Georgie

“I don't know,” replied Rick. “I feel like I've been here before. Like, as a child.”

“Maybe it is time to find out who you really are, Rick. It seems obvious that you are more than just a needle.”

“How will we do that?” asked Rick.

“I will have a look later,” said Georgie. “I may need some help.”

There was no response from Rick.

“Ricky?”

The needle, that once had life, was now lying on the ground. What had happened to the life force?

“I must get home,” thought Georgie.

Her first instinct was to run to the car. However, there is a time and place to conjure up a portal.
