DAILY PROMPT: I CHOSE: SNAPSHOT
You often hear the phrase " a snapshot is worth a thousand words"; is it? I wonder sometimes. Does a thousand words equal a snapshot? Tell me how many words pop in your head with each picture.
Modern day Nelson, Nv; Eldorado canyon was once a booming mining town.
Did you know that the Native Americans used to have dreads? Like straight up dread locks??? They did!
Techatticup mine kept the residents busy with mining silica, silver, gold. If you have the chance to get away from the glitz and glam of the strip of Las vegas
its only an hour drive. It dead ends like where the Colorado River meets. Just breathe taking. Believe it or not, that picture above is old Las Vegas Strip, Fremont Street. Nuts isnt it!
Rusted cars, old pioneer building and mines litter the mountainside.
