So I wrote the second diary entry of Diary of a Serial Killer. I thought it was pretty cool. My wife thought it was freaking creepy and yeah, it was a little of both, depending on which side of the fence you're on when it comes to this genre.
I was ready to post it, on Thursday I believe, then the shit hit the fan. Thing is, I wrote it on a word doc on my phone. Unlike word on a PC, it isn't as user friendly and instead of copying the content I somehow managed to cut it (I think) and paste some crap I previously copied (clipboard vibes) into the document. Before I could mentally react to what was happening my dumbass fingers already hit the touch screen, sending the diary entry into oblivion, leaving me with nothing more than what was a previous post title... or some shit like that.
UGH!!
As fictional writers can tell you, if it's gone, you can't replicate it. I can re-write it, which I will but that was quite a challenging entry to work through. I really had to work on getting the flow right yet keep it like a diary entry.
Hmmm, maybe I'll just go and shove a knife into some raw meat for motivation... Just kidding!!
Typing on my cellphone, Again! Hopefully this time the content will reach its intented destination.
Enough to make you pull your hair out, working on phones just does not happen, using the laptop is bad enough.
A typist of many years, my sons managed to buy me a great keyboard that really looks and feels like a typewriter, it is my confidence and speed using the desktop or I would have been walking 'square circles' a long time ago @therneau
Oh yes... and save, save your work all the time, you never know when someone will pull the plug on power.....

I really enjoy it when its working... There have been quite a few bugs which they've resolved now but if your internet connection isn't good you can still battle with it.
