5 Minute Freewrite - Day 29 - My Great-Granpa's Nose

in freewrite •  7 years ago

I was not able to see both my grandparents and thinking about something that will make me remember them I think I don't have but as I asked my father on what does "tatay ni Lolo" looked like ( that is what great grandfather here in our country, I was informed that I do look him on the Ramos side and not on my mom's especially the nose. My great-grandfather has a distinct feature on his nose that I inherited, I do have a pointed nose at him and he has a somehow a bone. I do not know how it is called but the bone is noticeable as he has said. As much as I want to see his picture as per dad they do not have a photo of him because cameras are not that popular that time.

Nice piece of writing. It's good to know the family feature is passed on! It is a strong nose.

Yes I am also blessed on inheriting this feature. This make's me unique from the rest of the family members.

Man, you made me remember what I used to hear when I was a little:

"This one has the nose of a Campo" (My second last name)

I got a really big nose ^ↀᴥↀ^

Haha bro it is really in the blood though. They will not be and cannot tell me that I am not a member of the family because I do look like great grand pops :)

So cool!! You found something out about your family!! And the word for great-grandpa in your language sounds really sweet - at least how I am pronouncing it in my head which might be totally wrong :)
