Back in the late 90's I was heavily into trading Hard Rock Cafe pins from the San Antonio and Austin locations.

I would visit the San Antonio location, twice a week and drive to Austin about every ten days.

In 1999, the San Antonio location was hosting the Texas Pinshoot and I was asked to help with designing the pin that would be sold that day.

The design that the committee ended up choosing, was the red base with green and blue guitars.

About a month after the very successful Pinshoot, the manager of the Rock presented me with the four other prototype pins, and gave me ten of the red base pins.

There were only ten prototype sets made, and I was lucky enough to be selected to receive one because of my work on the event.

I'm not sure of the value of the set, but I still know a few hard core collectors who would like to get their hands on them.
