5-minute-Freewrite : Excuses

Here it goes :

Excuses...excuses..excuses..

Why do people make excuses??? hmmm... i just thought of probable reasons. One ,i believe there something true about the statement that if there's a will there's a way and if you don't want you got lots of excuses. Yes let's accept that , that is so true , even myself , i do make excuses if sometimes i dont wanna say yes or i am lazy maybe or just simply i don't like . We make statements that would actually excuse us of something or someone we don't like. Second , i believe people make excuses because of rhe reason that they don't wanna hurt somebody . Like you'll make a white lie as they call it just not to get somebody offended or upset. An example is , you have a friend who invited you to a birthday party , you have made an excuse that you're gonna do something important , ao you can't make it , but the truth is , you don't wanna go since maybe you don't know other people there, or you don't like the place

For whatever reason we make excuses , i am sure there is always a purpose why you did that. But we just have to make sure that as much as possible make positive excuses that would not hurt anybody's feelings.
