Lisk (LSK), VeChain (VEN), and Monero (XMR): Coins in the Green

Coins on the crypto markets are sporting a bright green look this morning. The top-ten coins are trading up, as well as Lisk (LSK), VeChain (VEN), and Monero (XMR). We will be focusing on those three coins today.

Lisk (LSK)

Lisk (LSK) is currently selling for $14.46. This puts Lisk (LSK) up 12.28% in the past twenty-four hours. Lisk (LSK) has a market cap of $1.53 billion.

There's no direct news for the more than 10% increase, but Lisk does have some exciting things on the horizon. The Lightcurve team has been hosting conferences and meetups around the globe for the past couple months, in an attempt to spread the word about the Lisk. There are more conferences set up for this month. The first is this weekend – May 4 and 5 in Amsterdam.

Next, the President of Lisk, Max Kordek, will be a keynote speaker at the GTEC Center next week. He will be presenting on May 9 at 6 p.m.

VeChain (VEN)

VeChain (VEN) is currently selling for $4.89. This puts the coin up 11.28% in the past twenty-four hours. Not as much of an increase nor Lisk (LSK), but still good. The coin has a current market cap of $2.57 billion.

The VeChain Foundation has been pretty busy over the past month. Especially towards the end of April. On April 26, the foundation introduced the VeChain (VEN) multi-party payment protocol. Then, on April 28, the VeChain Foundation and INPI Asia incorporated Nanotech Digital Identity Solutions into the VeChainThor platform.

Monero (XMR)

Monero (XMR) is currently selling for $246.06. This puts the coin up 4.59% in the past twenty-four hours. It has a market cap of $3.93 billion, ultimately surpassing both Lisk (LSK) and VeChain (VEN).

It's possible Monero (XMR) being up this morning was due to yesterday's news. On Tuesday, it was announced that Abra, a digital wallet app, has added five new altcoins to its services, one of which includes Monero (XMR). Perhaps the market is still on a bit of a high.
