The Freshman - My introductory post

I am Ekemini Joshua Ekwere, aka Eekay Josh or EKJOSH. I'm Nigerian, from Afaha Offiong local government area of Akwa Ibom state. I am the first child in a family of 4 boys (we cute like that), and I just completed my bachelor degree in Microbiology from the University of Uyo.
Oh my God! I didn't tell you! I love sarcasm/humour/comedy! I mean, what is life if we cannot laugh through our sorrows? As a wise man once said, "against the assault of laughter, nothing ever stood" (heard that from the movie series, HappyISH).

I'm a movie series freak; comedy and thrillers are my genre. My taste in music is eclectic; from my main course (jazz, classical and opera remain my favorite), to the side dishes (every other thing, so long as it's good), I'm grateful to my best friend who constantly keeps me in touch with the world by supplying me with new songs. I love technology, as well as foreign politics.
My favorite all-time actor is Adam Sandler. Dude can make you laugh without trying. Others who come really close include Gabriel Macht, Seth MacFarlane, Neil Patrick Harris Jnr (the lost is long). Musicians who get my attention include James Bay, Passenger (my newest obsession), Miles Davies, Ella Fitzgerald and Jon Bellion amongst others.
My role model is Thierry Henry (I am a die-hard gunner; #COYG). My future ambition is to head the CDC or WHO. My skillset? Honestly, I wasted my childhood, but I'm working on a couple of things (graphic and fashion designing)

Finally, my ultimate dream is not to ride fancy cars or build mansions (don't be deceived; that it is not my ultimate dream doesn't mean it isn't on the list!). It is to see a world of love, a world where all divisive lines (ethnic, religious, gender etc) are blurred. It's to have a world where one doesn't look down on one for any reason. Love is all we are, love is all we ever need.
Oh! I'm a Christian, and I stand against #Islamophobia, or any form of hate.

This is a story of procrastination. It's a story of "tomorrow". A story of how he always said "tomorrow, I'll be there, on Steemit".
Every "tomorrow" led to another "tomorrow", until he grew wary of the number of "tomorrows" he had stacked, stacked so high that the procrast-coins actually almost became Steems!
