Hello steemits, today is Friday the 13th, a day that for many is unlucky, I am a person who believes that this is a bit irrational, and that luck attracts each one, however there is a story of why this day is taken as "A day of bad luck".
The irrational fear of this day is partly due to something known as triscaidecaphobia, and the origin of the fear on Friday the 13th was in English, French and Portuguese speaking countries, although apparently it is something worldwide, the story goes back to year 1307 when King Philip IV of France ordered to capture and burn all the knights of the Order of the Temple, who were accused of sodomy and heresy, this was a witch farm on the part of the church to the Templars and everything was done on a Friday the 13th of that year, but this has not been the only historical fact that has given the popular Friday 13 that tone of "bad luck".
What really happens if it's Friday the 13th like today?
As I say, for me it is one more day, but historically it has associated bad luck and even catastrophes, such as Friday 13th of 2015 when France suffers its first terrorist attack in Paris (although it could be purely coincidental). Another historical fact was in 2012 when the cruise accident "Costa Concordia" happened where many people died, in addition to casual life, cinema and pop culture have also given their touch of life to this superstition.

The parascevedecatriafobia is an irrational fear on Friday the 13th, where people suffer or feel a strong fear of negative things that could happen to them or that they imagine so many modify their routine to avoid them.

This occurs mainly because of historical events, since the Roman Empire of Constantinople was formed on Tuesday 13, other beliefs lie in the belief of the 13 attendees of the Last Supper in which Judas betrays Jesus Christ, obviously considering it number 13, while The Roman god of war: Mars, was the symbol of destruction, violence and blood.
Despite all this there really is no scientific evidence to tell us if Tuesday or Friday the 13th are days of bad luck, anyway do not forget to wake up with your right foot today.
