My friend is probably at a better place now.

I don't know how I feel. I still can't believe it.

We spend good and bad times together in Kenya. When I meet him he was full of hopes and dreams for a better life. I remember that he lived in a small cottage in some kind of slum for 20$ monthly next to our church, that he was working in the office. He felt really sad that he couldnt provide his daughter for a better life. It made him sad that his own daughter didn't even recognize him. He did everything to get a better life, even stealing and lying, he had big hopes. Most people liked him. I don't know if he was a good person, but actually nobody in this world is a good person. But he tried his best.

One thing I remember from him: He was Rastafarian and he enjoyed every moment of his life. We had good and fun times but also difficult ones.

Life is short and we should live every moment happy.

His life would make good content for a movie.

From all the Kenyans I meet he really wanted to life a successful life doing everything to reach his goal, a better life for his family. I could say a lot of bad things about him. But let's just remember the good things from him.

He was a dedicated staff worker, always friendly, he was fun and focused.

He lived life at the fullest, he hasnt really missed anything. I don't actually feel sad, but more like he fullfilled his journey and is just going home.

Oh, this is sad! Sorry to hear!

Sorry to hear

I'm sorry for you. I know what it's like to lose a loved one. My little brother died a year and a half ago now. Since then I have always been sick. Rest in peace. At the moment there is only one thing that motivates me is Steemit. It is very hard to lose loved ones. All my condolences.

Hi. I new here. Can you give me some gift ?! Hhhh

my condolences

Very genuinely sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine.

Babu aka Buba Sparks RIB Bro.

Babu was my classmate in Kenyatta University Bcom Class of 2002. He was a good man and we always had good times together.
We a a group of about 12 men who used to hang out in packs, we could drink together, smoke together, hunt for ladies together, club together and let me say just do every other thing together.
Our life in Campus was fun, I cannot regret anything in the past. We lived ourlives to the fullest.
After Campus all of us were separated because time was running fast and each and every person had to look for a job for a decent living.
That is when we lost contacts. Fate would have it that we would occasionally and accidentally meet at some local drinking dens.
We would catch up with stories and compare life notes.
We would again lose contacts and then meet again accidentally.
Life in Nairobi seemed not to be very well with my friend and so he was lucky to get a job in USA.
I guess after moving to America Babus life was going on well. I was happy for him and his Family.
But death is such a cruel snatcher. Before you know it a loved one is gone.
God has his plans for us and all of us are headed there.
My heart felt condolences to the family and friends.
We loved you Buba, but God loved you more.
Rest In Peace my brother.

Any update on the progress with the funeral?
