THIS happened during a sleepover with a Friend!

Hi there, my nickname is Kiddo, my grandpa calls me by that name so I kept that as a souvenir with the old man. This is a wholesome story of me and my friends! I hope you enjoy it and hope you follow the rest ;)
I took my two weeks vacation as soon as I got hired at a new company because why the hell not. Actually, I've been working there for a good 5 months! I've been thinking about activities that I could do during those two weeks, I wanted to be productive and do something for myself, I haven't gotten any vacation last year since it was a roller coaster experience for me. You know how tough it is to find a career that you truly want. Anyway, As I was about to start my 2 weeks, a friend I haven't got in contact with since last year contacted me for a sleepover and wanted to catch up - I got so excited! I wanted to hangout with a human being! Atlast! I was so tired of being in the computer at work all the frkn time! It was about time I get some human connections :D Anyway, let's call my friend Owen, he loves sports and his girlfriend. I met him since I arrived in Canada, he's like a brother to me since we have a lot of things in common such as sports, memes, league of legends and we're both very competitive! I only have a few friends though, I meant TRUE friends, I can count them by my fingers. I only have so few, because I can't seem to fake around people, you could tell if I don't like someone and I'm direct with people. So back with my friend, we both wanted to catch up on a lot of things sooooo..... we ended up sleeping over at his place.
Before we got to his place, of course we bought something important! BEER ;) ;) We both love beer (especially Sapporo!). We got into his place and - of course, he had to take a shower since he just came back from Volleyball training. Meanwhile, I was playing league of legends - while drinking beer. I felt like I was back in my teens. That feeling of not having to think about responsibilities and things about the future.
When my friend was done with the shower, I started asking him about our friends - how were they doing, etc. They all seemed to be fine and, I was thinking that it wasn't too long ago since we were in high school, now everyone is trying to find their own job and some are still pursuing their education. Everything seemed to be normal. Until he asked me to teach him Photography...
I asked why? suddenly he looked like he was hiding something from me... I wasn't feeling good either.
He replied: "Well, you know, just in case" as he looked away
Me: "Just in case, what??"
(moment of silence)
Me: "There's something wrong, right?"

At that moment, Ben told about our friend Anh, he's part of my closest friend as well. Anh, apparently, had lost his self confidence and he's been single since birth (damn). My friends found a dating group on Facebook - where people post pictures of people and promote themselves as 'hot' stuff n' get laid ;) Get them DM's !

Actually, Anh wanted to participate, but he wasn't confident with himself. Owen told me that he wanted to take good pictures for him, so he can, at least, post some quality pictures. Anh at that time, had no self esteem AT ALL. He was confident that no one's going to like/comment on his picture.

I got so mad, I don't know why, but I started tearing up (I think I was tipsy) I was so mad that he's been going through this! I wasn't happy that my dear friend was not happy with himself!
I told Owen to work on the post - we're going to make our friend THE HOT STUFF ON THE PAGE! (i'm exaggerating, but srsly tho)

I SLAMMED MY BEER DOWN and told my friend that I will do photoshoot with Anh! and get him the likes and the DM's! ;)
I mean I know that self-confidence doesn't come down to how many likes and comments you have on you picture, it's sad, because this new generation is all about social media and your people's perception of you matters a lot. Most people ends up faking themselves just to look better in front of people and in most cases, they end up being depressed because they don't know how to make themselves happy, but I hope he starts liking himself more after this...

AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT! NEXT PART IS THAT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT WITH MY FRIEND, ANH! :D
