If you in fact are wondering If frogs really are our friends. Well wonder no more they help to keep our backyards free of those pesky bugs and insects.

If you are real frog lover you can get a greatFrog Tee shirt available online.

Frogs hunt live prey, eating snails, spiders, worms, slugs, termites, dragonflies, crickets and larvae. Depending on the size of the frog, the type and size of insect will vary. Smaller frogs may eat more gnats, ants, fruit flies and red worms, whereas larger frogs may prefer roaches, earthworms, small fish and invertebrates. In the wild, frogs will try to eat anything that moves, even if the prey is too large, but in captivity, it's best to offer insects that are smaller than the width between its eyes.

They are truly amazing creatures for sure and I encourage you to attract them to your yard. Garden ponds make ideal homes for tadpoles. They will need shade to keep the water from getting too hot, plants for cover and algae for food. Frogs prefer still water, so you won’t need pumps, aeration, waterfalls or fountains.

When it comes right down to it we should all be envious of frogs especially in this day and age. After all Frogs can just eat whatever bugs them.
