I first came into contact with this mangosteen fruit when i was working in my cousin's super market back in Australia and i had no idea what it was till i decide to try it and find out for myself. It was priced at two dollars a piece rather expensive for a tiny piece of fruit but i was curious to find out the taste of this fruit been a fruit lover and by no means i became addicted to this so sweet tasty piece of fruit but could not afford to be buying them at that price.

Then i came to Thailand and discovered that they were more popular in the Asia countries and have been having a feast on them ever since i arrived in Thailand ...Here you can buy them at a bargain today i purchased a four kilo bag for 100 baht which is the equivalent to $4 Aus dollars ....omg i would have only got two mangosteen's for that price back home.

I LOVE THIALAND...!!

THE FOUR KILO BAG MUST BE ABOUT ( 40 - 50 ) MANGOSTEEN'S IN THAT BAG...!!

I love Mangosteen!

Can't get enough of them..!!

I was in Thailand several years back. The variety of fruit is definitely one thing I will always remember. I had freshly squeezed Guava every morning with my eggs. Unfortunately, I can't find fresh Guava in this part of the States. The Mangosteen was intimidating at first because I had no idea what to do with it. Ha
