Rumbia fruit, commonly used as a spice rujak (peanut sauce) by people in Aceh.

The rumbia fruit which is in its Latin Metroxylon sago. Which in Aceh this fruit is called Boh meuria is the fruit of a sago palm tree species whose tree trunks can be used as sago flour. This Rumbia tree grows in the area of ​​freshwater swamps, and riverbanks.

The leaves of this tree are generally used as roof of the house (better known in the community with the name of the roof of rumbia) and pelepaknya widely used to be used as materials to produce children's toys, as a fence and even can also be used as a clothesline.

This rumbia tree is almost flat growing in all areas in Aceh, but pascaterjadinya earthquake and tsunami of this Rumbia become rare. Scarcity of this fruit is also not only influenced only by the earthquake and the tsunami, but also due to the rampant occurrence of large-scale logging for the needs of sago flour and sebahagian again because of the transfer of land functions in the growth of this crop.
