Finally a durian buffet in chiang mai, 400 baht for all you can eat durian. I'm gonna have to visit this place soon, its going to be open for about a month from now!

The durian there is terrible. I was there last year with a couple of friends and we came to the conclusion that they freeze the durian and defrost it before serving. Instead, go to the market and buy all the durian you can get for 400 baht you'll be surprised as to how much you'll get especially now that it's in season

I was actually planning to go tomorrow, I guess it's canceled now..
Which durian you think it's better, The one from Rimping or from Mueang Mai?

BTW when you come to Chiang Mai ?

Rimping hands down is the best, it might be a little pricey but you're guaranteed quality. Mueng Mai is still good if you know how to pick quality durian.

I went there too, but they only froze it at the end of the season from my experience. Sometimes they have good-quality at the buffet - Worth a try because of the cheap price. But yes, Rimping is the best, hands down.
