Jamblang (Syzygium cumini) or also called jambu rivet and duwet is a kind of fruit tree of guava tribe (Myrtaceae).
Fruit plant is also known as various names such as jambee kleng (Aceh), jambu kling, nunang [4] (Gayo), guava koliong (Riau), jambu kalang (Min.), Jambulang, jambulan, jombulan, jumblang (miscellaneous Local names in North Sulawesi), jambulan (Flores), jambula (Ternate), jamblang (Btw., Sd.). Also guava juwat, jiwat, jiwat rice (Jw.), Juwet, jujutan (Bl.), Dhuwak, dhalas (Md.), Duwe (Bima), Rappo - Rappo (Selayar) Etc.
In various foreign languages this fruit is known as jambulan, jambulana (Malaysia), duhat (Philippines), crested, jamun, or Java plum (Ingg.), And others. The scientific name is Syzygium cumini.
In Aceh fruit season jamblang antaran June, June and August. Many areas with different fruit sizes are rather small and medium.
It is said that the fruit jamblang be a panacea, such as stomach.
