there is of course
a candy that
requires no humans
is given from nature
to us
the fruit.

every sort of flavor
every sort of shape,
a berry, an orange,
a dragonfruit
and everything
between.

small and large,
sweet, sour, and even
savory,
so much
variety.

natures blessing
grown from rain
and soil
for the animals
to enjoy
for us
to love.
