"YOU did not choose Me, but I CHOSE you and APPOINTED you that you should GO AND BEAR FRUIT, And that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."
John 15:16 (NKJV)

• God has chosen and ordained you, As a believer in Christ Jesus, to be fruitful.

  • If a tree was planted, the main purpose which the tree was planted should be fruitfulness. Jesus wants whoever is chosen and called by God, to be fruitful in whatever assignment given to them.
  • In the text, John 15:16; the chosen and the appointment were for three purposes:
    a. To go and bear fruit
    b. That the fruit should remain or abide
    c. That whatever you ask the Father, God, in Jesus' name, might be granted. IN other words, your obedience to the commandment given to bear fruit, gives or grants you a listening hear before God.

• If things highlighted above are not happening in your life and ministry, you would need to check yourself.
a. Are you bearing fruit?
b. Are your fruits abiding?
c. Is God the Father granting your requests?

  • There are things you need to pay attention to, in getting the results As described or mentioned above:
  • For your Ministry to produce or bear fruit, you had to allow God to make you, or work on you. God will make; prepare, or groom, the person, who would make or be used to build the ministry.
  • You allow God to mould you, through constant pruning, for you to be a fruit bearing or fruit producing person—minister:
1 "I AM [Jesus] THE TRUE VINE, AND MY FATHER IS THE VINEDRESSER. 2 EVERY BRANCH in Me that DOES NOT bear fruit HE TAKES AWAY; AND EVERY BRANCH THAT BEARS FRUIT HE PRUNES, THAT IT MAY BEAR MORE FRUIT" (John 15:1,2 NKJV).
  • A plant that would be fruitful, or be fruit bearing, had to be treated and regularly pruned for maximum productiveness (John 15:2).

• Fruitfulness in the Ministry which is also known as increase is about all round increase; spiritual, numerical, and material or financial.
a. When you become a person who's words are honoured by God, that none of your words falls to the ground; increase in all the areas mentioned above cannot but be experienced (1 Samuel 3:19).
IN other words, Fruitfulness means the Increase of the Anointing on your life As God's servant or minister.
IT also means honour and authority accompanying your words, and they are producing results in the life of the people; Thus the people are stirred to bless your work or ministry with their material blessings—substance or possessions.
b. It also means, having your ministry announced, well known. Becoming a national or an international figure.
c. It means, being favoured by all Men—the people.

• Fruitfulness, or the blessing, being described here are made available or possible by God, after the believer or minister must have humbly allowed God's thorough, absolute and careful, dealings in his or her life.

  • God would not be able to work through you, as an instrument of His, without being molded or groomed—shaped to be the person He wanted or desired to use (2 Timothy 2:19-21).
  • If God wanted to use you, He would take you through a process of fire that would remove the dross or the dirtiness, in you, that you might come out shining like gold: "TAKE THE IMPURITIES OUT OF SILVER, AND A VESSEL IS READY FOR THE SILVERSMITH TO MOLD" (Proverbs 25:4 GOD’S WORD Translation).
  • Many failed in the place of process, thus, they could not be a good vessel or product, which could be considered for the use of God:
20 BUT IN A GREAT HOUSE THERE ARE NOT ONLY VESSELS OF GOLD AND SILVER, but also of wood and clay, SOME FOR HONOUR AND SOME FOR DISHONOUR. 21 THEREFORE IF ANYONE CLEANSES HIMSELF FROM THE LATTER, HE WILL BE A VESSEL FOR HONOUR, SANCTIFIED AND USEFUL FOR THE MASTER, PREPARED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK" (2 Timothy 2:20,21 NKJV).
  • To be a vessel for honour, you had to pass through a furnace of fire (2 Timothy 2:20,21; Proverbs 25:4).
  • If you left the furnace when you are yet tempered, when you are yet done, that is, yet to be ready; you would not shine and not be fitted or qualified for the Master's Use (2 Timothy 2:21).
  • Whoever God wants to use, He purifies. That is, He tests whoever He wants to use. And whatever the test, It is meant to be passed, for you to qualify for the Increase in the ministry work.
  • Glamour in the ministry work comes after you had submitted to the Test brought your way, and passed the test.
  • If you are under God's dealing or process, presently, be patient with Him and allow Him to do a thorough work in your life—that you might fulfil His plan or purpose for your life.
  • Let God work on you that you might be relevant and be a blessing to the people you are assigned or Sent.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever God has not planted in your body that is contrary to your health is rebuked and uprooted in Jesus' name.
  • Healthiness is your portion in Jesus' name.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
