I'm sorry for this mistake, but I cannot delete this repeated post about walnuts.
But if that's the case, here's a good recipe for walnuts!

Walnut carrot cake

Ingredients / 10 Servings

To the dough:

10 dkg of whole wheat flour
10 dkg of brown sugar
5 dkg fine flour
1 tb Baking Powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 lattice ginger
1 knife of cloves
225 g carrots (grated)
125 g nuts (minced rough)
1.3 dl sunflower oil
2 eggs
1 orange peel of orange (shredded)

To the glaze:

10 dkg cream cheese
12.5 dkg mascarpone (with substitute cream)
20 dkg powdered sugar

Preheat the oven, stir it, and peel a cake. For the dough, grate the carrots and mix with coarse ground (or knife cut) nuts.
Sift the flour into a bowl, add the baking powder and the spices, the grated orange peel, and mix well.
The egg is poured into foam, poured into the oil, the sugar and then the mixture of beets, and then quickly mixed with the flour mixture.
Place the mass into the cake mold and fry.
When done (check with a toothpick), remove from the baking tray and let it cool slightly (about 30 minutes).
Mix the ingredients of the glaze and pour over the cool dough. Small shake it, or spoon it with a spoon to cover it evenly. Put the cake together in the refrigerator and let it fade at the top (it's at least half an hour, but the longer we leave it, the better).
Finally, we decorate the top with marzipan or possibly minced walnuts and almond slices. You can leave it in pie, I cut it into cubes.

It is true that walnuts do not belong to fruit or vegetables, but as an oily seed, it has an important role in healthy nutrition. Regular walnut consumption save people from a range of metabolic diseases.

  • antihypertensive
  • normalizes cholesterol levels
  • prevents blood clots
  • keeps the blood vessels flexibly
  • the vitamin E contained in it strengthens the immune system
  • high omega-3 fatty acid content improves the functioning of the pancreas and therefore prevents the development of diabetes
  • because of its folic acid content, it has a protective effect on the fetus
  • rich in minerals: iron, manganese, copper, potassium, calcium, magnesium, selenium
  • skin-rejuvenating effect

yes! Similarly to other nuts too (Cashews,...), walnuts are an excellent small in-between meal (or small meal) replacement.
Only thing to consider is not to overeat them. Say 9-10 pieces is more than enough for the good value they bring in, otherwise you might add in few extra pounds. Healthy fat, but still that is fat LOL.
Thanks for sharing!

You are right! A handful of nuts gives me energy all day. Best is raw, but I also love cakes, like that walnut-carrot-cake. That has a paleo variation without flour, but I've never tried that.

oh yes forget to say how delic. the cake looks too ! You keep those coming our way, i'll be following your news!
I'm guilty of being such a choco-lover. Even though I do tend to enjoy Dark chocolate too, which kinda stands as my healthy pleasure hut LOL.
You can check out some of my older posts about chocolate, but just don't get tempted to go buy some of your own :D

wow great we must eat it because of the diseases , many of food have many microbes if you look it's great if we eat just fruits and veggies , thank's for share this post with us I have followed you !

Meat is a microbe factory, also dangerous to work with meat. Fruits and veggies have no problem, but we should wash them in flowing water before eating.

I like so much walnut and I often use them in salad or cakes ^^ Thanks for this recipe, @kalemandra , I'll try it ^^

Dear Silvia, thanks for your kind words! Salad with walnuts? I did not think it was good for that either! I'll try it!

You have to try it, it's really good ^_^
