I think I mentioned sometime ago that my mom has green thumbs! She threw the cantaloupe seeds in the garden, and it grew! Though it didn't get big like in the market, it was a good size to feed at least two people.
There is nothing more special than eating homegrown fruits, and picking it yourself! Out of all the seeds, we have three cantaloupes in a very small garden area, and this was from the first one I picked.
I love these cherries and the price for a pound was very affordable. I am eating mostly fruits and drinking green juice for my migraines twice a day.
I am determined to heal or cure my migraines without having to take pills! The medication that was prescribed to me was MOOD PILL, and I am not a fan of any medications.
In the bag of my cherries, I found these funny looking shapes. I saved them for pictures and ate all of them afterward :-)

I bet that cantaloupe was delicious! We have some growing from seeds, so we'll see if they bring us any fruit before the end of the season. :)

Your mum is a great gardener! I don't know how difficult it is to plant a cantaloupe but it doesn't sound easy neither :)

I am happy to see you joined us again Icy. What a beautiful cantaloupe, maybe you should plant more next yer as well. I had those cherries too, but I wasn't lucky finding funny shapes like that, lol. 🍒 🍌🍑🌿🍍🍓🍇
PS: Speaking of migraines, I am taking something to prevent them, but it takes time before it will work. If I would eat only fruits and drinking juice, I would feel even worse. But I have also have a chronic neck pain, scoliosis and arthritis. Oh well.
