It might be out of budget

...

this is just one vid - now breadboard electronics is one ...

virtual clean room units and microscopes ...

the software we saw used cost about €13000 full - - so you say okay then why not for just once

well you need an interface to go with it and they probably dont really have those downloadable for 3d printing

even if we had a 3d printer

thats why i hate drives bigger than 1TB

just try to get one

5 years of collected works, 20 years of fotos maybe - it wont be all lost but for instance the videos of the cat .... which are actually really important

we are amazed at how frosty we are

it must be some auto-defense mechanism

sooooooooo (we already opened it and actually found out that invisible dust rains in every room of the house so its probably fubar)

well yea, not like we get the €1500 , €13000 or a lab the size of the house , or a worskhop the size of the whole first floor with an electron microscope to it and biohazard suits

...

this is slightly aggravating

on top of the stuff that broke from lying on the shelf by december we wont even reach budget to fix or replace all that and

how much money is memories and fotos ?

you tell me, i dont think musk has enough for that

u huhhhh

but children arent afraid to make mistakes ... so since the kid is a ghost in janes ondergrond it never grew up

afwcs (it fell after we had the screen not working and started moving stuff around to do the ole "by the component" thing and turns out somehow "a cable scowls at you ready to attack" got bent from sitting in the socket (either we have really wild sleepwalking dances or else patches of dark matter and gravitational fields drift in and out of the house and bend stuff and make parts fall off (yea parts fell off that pico-psu , the coils so maby thats easier to repair but we dont have money for a soldering kit, maybe later) and so the drive (in a dock) fell (not too far but it did) as we were moving stuff in a dumpster shack the size of a house on mars on the ISS with more cables to borg and about 2m² to fit us and the cat)

and then it moved no more

sooo

well we did videos and concluded we cant afford this in five years so lets open it up and

the motor wouldnt spin but that we got fixed

but then the head started moving back and forth so that can be anything from misalignment to what the guy calls contamination (since it rains dust in every room of house rose-white here)

about six-seven times and then it powers down

so it turns out the FIRMWARE (??) is ON the platters ... ( pardon ?) and if it cant read that it wont continue

we dont have the right type of alcohol and microfibers or bristles to clean either so

for mental health reasons we'll consider it gone

and see if we can find a bottle of that thing and if that doesnt work

i dont think it will be affordable to get all the kit needed

sic transit gloria mundi

good thing vocores arent that sensitive

well that sucked

like everything else in the last 15 years xept cats

so there's symmetry

yea learned a lot

which would be nice if we ran business in mongolia and could afford the machinery we could now offer an extra service, it doesnt look like rocket science

it looks like patience and the right equipment

TOO BAD

okay

NEXT

we probably will be better off being quiet for a few weeks lest hellfire escapes

o dear, see ?

well, precious, how does a new hard drive replace 5+20 years of data ?

thats like saying "have a cookie and forget about the past 20 years of shyte we dragged you through"

maybe in disneyland but life doesnt work like that for Jane

at any rate its interesting, albeit costly on precious irreplaceable things that cant be replaced with money

a nice side-occupation for odd-jobs Gintama who runs a small business already , looking at it first glance it looks like something you can get out of initial cost fairly quickly if you have some tentacles - and probably get good sidemoney from (well if you odd-jobs then EVERYTHING is side money that combines isnt it) once the initial stuff is paid off

unless you're into amazon tax-strategies where you throw it all away yearly and then claim costs so you dont have to pay anything on buying new stuff

i guess that works for amazon

not sure if it would for Gin

so, precious, the point of keeping mouth shut is for hellfire not to escape and burn yow-ass for stupid b/c

we are slightly not pleased with the situation thats created withint the situation we were already in in which we were fairly displeased as to not getting choices on top of not getting choices and back against the wall being told BUT YOU COULD CHOOSE (to be homeless or this !)

and others

so

... it's '23 and we agreed to say the world is doing great and its all going in the right direction again

but thats only if you are not up our ass

precious

and mister Sir

... and general Assscrawler(s)

et al

otherwise it wont work

so

HEY

FABULOUS DAY TODAY

gud weather (the roof nearly blew off i think , its a bit odd-weather for a while now ...)

bright future, this country has

geldj genoeg

naft genoeg

pree genoeg

choco !

....

and good news too - we barely escaped it, seeing by next winter is believing by next winter - EOF

fyi btw everyone claims you need t6 and/or t8 but that WD superwarranty 24/7 security crafted for super-use drive (which took one hit from a very low distance) only has t9 holes on the front

(we had a box of those from back when there was a little money left and an xbox but life was already done for)

thats about the space we have, and rickety so it doesnt take much for something to fall off - even at zero beers since september stuff still does

the perks of being poor and in a position where no matter how hard you try whatever warren buffett says doesnt even make you $100

any conclusion other than aha this and aha that we'd say : unless you got €25k or more to start with to buy the necessities (which probably wont cover all) and enough left for donor parts ...

if you REALLY want it back its probably better to spend €1500 on a guy who already has it unless you plan to start in it

otherwise, if you cant help yourself and HAVE TO screw it open -

its like murphy's dust , you dont see it until you open the drive and then it comes flocking

that was magical

dark magic but magic nonetheless

no lessons learned other than

"this hole is shyte and will keep us stuck here forever"

haaaaa

ofcourse we want it back - most of the code is probably lying around somewhere doubled or tripled but not all of the data - the sentimental value has no dollar value

but the hard fact is, since you stuck us here, no amount of how-to's by warren buffett or indian nouveau riche will get us €1500 to spare which we wont need for something else within the next five or ten years unless the lottery maybe b/c crypto has had the american treatment

like iraq and the filippines and so on

so thats fucked

it leaves a hole, and thats not bitter, thats HATE man

hate heals, you should try it sometime, just make sure to hate everyone equally :)

got stuff to do
