She has probably read it.
Or perhaps she is reading it right as we speak.

Where was I?

Lately, every night I manage to crawl into bed, I feel like I've won. Exactly at that moment, when my head hits the pillow, my eyes closed. I can still hear the water running through the pipes and birds singing somewhere outside.
The night is almost over.

最近、毎夜ベッドに入ったことで優勝したという気分になるのです。
そう、枕に頭を乗せて、目をつぶり、あの瞬間です。
水道がまだ聞こえる。朝ばやの鳥の鳴き声。夜も終わる。
