Nooooo....
Two of my favorite Steemians are up against each other. That's terrible news. Is it for real or a PR-trick?

I'm sure it's the real deal, and that makes me truly worried. You two have always done things differently, but you both have the best intentions. Even I have been able to see that.

I have never felt like kissing someone's ass around here, even though I've been scared to get entirely wiped out, but I've always been careful before doing things because I don't want to pick a fight with someone if I can avoid it.

I guess that's what most people are doing too. We are often careful because we feel threatened. We face the risk of being wiped out.

You guys don't face that same risk, because you're heavily invested. I struggle to survive, even though I'm a full time student, working extra and are trying to be active on Steemit. I try to grow my account even though I use some of my rewards for my livelihood. - And it works! Due to the support I have... - And now this?

The support I've had (have) from @fulltimegeek is amazing and truly makes it easier for me.. And I know I share that feeling with the rest of the people FTG supports. The upvotes I get from @berniesanders is a great bonus that also makes everything easier. (I work hard for it and I'm grateful for it.)

You guys are doing things differently, but you're both considered to be a huge asset on this platform. You make it easier for everyone you support, and that's not something I've ever taken for granted.

Am I supposed to be scared to get support from any of you from now on, due to some weird risk of retaliation?

This is counterproductive. Talk about FTG being a hero with a cool-looking cape or whatever. Talk about bernie being the big bad wolf. I don't care about that. I care about what I feel, and what I have seen from you guys... And I've seen generosity and dedication to make this a better place, even if you guys have done things differently.

We want this platform to grow. We want to empower people to make this a better place. You both have a bunch of "fanboys" that would follow you straight through hell... And the only thing these sort of wars will accomplish, is to make an even larger gap between people. Please, continue to build roads and bridges instead of destroying them.

These things forces people to make a decision of who to follow, instead of working together.

All kidding aside, I couldn't agree with you more, @hitmeasap!

I came across this after something triggered my @ginabot notifications (yes, @ginabot is back online, if you haven't tried, it's awesome!).

It's a shame to see these two steemians spending their energies on this conflict.

@fulltimegeek came to my aid when most others looked away. So you don't have to guess where my loyalty is.

I just hope this doesn't escalate and is resolved.

As for using your SP to upvote yourself, everyone is free to do that, but by the same token, everyone is free to flag what they perceive to be low value content. Two sides of the same crypto coin.

If somebody wants to support a project, they can delegate to it or upvote their posts. Creating posts and upvoting yourself only adds to the problem.

And yes, if you invest in steem, you should upvote others. Thats how you create real long term value. You give people who put energy and effort into creating content a reason to carry on doing so here on the steem blockchain.

If everyone just upvotes themselves, then we might as well just take our stakes and invest it into a master node or some other passive income Crypto. It just shows proof that there is no brain, just short term thinking. Without growth in its user base, steem will be dead in the water and slowly decline. Then all that steem you hold will be worthless

So the question is, do you want to hold less of something that will have more value because it's a stake in a growing community. Or do you accumulate as much as you can and increase your stake in a slower growing asset or even worse, a declining one.

I think @dhenz and @nathanmars put it best when they talk about using their stake to grow the community, so they can get return of multiples, rather than a short term ROI.

Anyway, that's my view. Flag or upvote as you see fit!

@kabir88

I was also quite surprised by his attack given he was asking if I had any ideas for an Android app just a couple weeks ago...

Maybe he'll change his mind when he sees projects being funded, maybe not, but I'm not going to sit by while he tries to discourage me from being productive. I actually thought he would support something like this, apparently I thought wrong.

Look, you're obviously free to do whatever you want and I can totally understand that you'll defend yourself if and when you feel that you're being attacked. That's natural and it's instinct.

Even though I'd rather see you guys work together, that's entirely up to you. But, as a simple bystander, as I refrain from choosing sides, can you please not attack the people @fulltimegeek delegates too at least? As long as they don't attack you?

I mean, there are people out there who really does good things with that stake. I'd hate to see it go down the drain.

We'll have to see how it plays out. It's his move.

Yea that would definitely make me power down if I couldn’t upvote myself.

We haven't always been on the same wavelength, Bernie. But this just hits the nail. I am not interested in your little flag war here, but appreciate the message: those who're willing to build a stake on Steem are surely not the problem, but rather those who're not inspired enough to create alternative investment opportunities. If you incentivize SP delegations to bid bots and self-voting in the way it has been and is incentivized on Steem, then you need to accept that the invested stakeholders will be exactly following that path.

Money flows in the direction of value.

Thanks for your engagement.

What does my delegation to others have to do with me flagging you? You're like a retarded child throwing a temper tantrum.

You come after me for wanting to fund development using the reward pool (that's mainly going to shit posts) and I will go after everything you use your SP for. I think that's a pretty easy concept to grasp and I'm sure everyone else can understand that.

We're all seeing the true colors of @fulltimegeek!

I think that's a pretty easy concept to grasp and I'm sure everyone else can understand that.

Only narcissistic fucks like yourself can "understand that." You're basically saying that it's ok to rape the reward pool with shit posts because others are already doing it. And now you also want to flag those I delegate to that do the hard work of curating. Go ahead and make yourself the super-villain of steem if you want.

This is besides the point, but the "hard work of curating" has always cracked me up. Why is it hard work? Is that admission that the content on Steemit is so bad that going through them is hard work? And if so, why do some individual - in your mind - "bad posts" even matter, then?

Or if the content is good, it's not hard work to go through it. I'm so confused.

The "hard work of curating" thing was used by the STEEM Guild back in the day to justify themselves using ned's keys to self-vote them to the top of trending every day.

Literally the exact thing people do on Facebook every day for free: clicking a like button.

Hard work!

I curate. I upvote content that I like. Where's my delegation? As a matter of fact, every single user here curates. :D

All curators are equal, others are just more equal than others?

It's so asinine.

Literally the only thing anyone ever needs to go here is follow people they like, upvote content that they like. All this over-complication on Steemit that's been going on since day 1 is ridiculous.

And then some people take it upon themselves to act like the righteous heroes of content curation.

It's also funny how your fanboys are of course legit, but God forbid if someone is bernie's friend, it's just ass kissing.

Because you are the caped crusader.

Usually the people on this platform that moralize the most are the biggest hypocrites.

Now is that the truest statement ever uttered on Steemit, or what.

There are exceptions, of course.

Yes, it's unfortunate that's the only way to reap the benefits I am due for holding SP. That's not my fault but I will take some of the rewards due to me, I assure you.

And yes, if you, or any of your accounts, flag any of my accounts I will negate every single vote you or any of your delegates place. Let me remind you, you are the one who started this and you also have less than 1/3 of the SP I have. This is a losing battle for you. Taking 1/3 of my rewards will have 0 effect on me now or in the future.

Well, shit! Every time I think things are going to be okay, I wake up to some news like this. I guess it's back to the Craigslist jobs section for me because it sounds like I won't be able to count on any of my pending payouts for my upcoming rent like I was hoping. I guess that's what I deserve for living hand to mouth while trying to make an escape from the system for me and my friends.

And just when things were finally beginning to work themselves out so that I could really focus on doing stuff I love and not worry so much about keeping my head above water, while giving my fellow teenyfish a hand up in the process... Darn it. Oh well, right? Too bad for us.

So, like, @berniesanders, if you're gonna wipe me out, could you just please do it fast like ripping off a bandaid? It's been a really hard year for me transitioning to full time steeming and if it's all just going to be taken away, I guess I'd prefer the guillotine over the garrote.

p.s. I'm sorta kidding around here but not about the anxiety of being at your mercy. I wish you'd reconsider.

You are asking the wrong person. It's absurd to think that when I am attacked I will not go on the offensive.

I suggest you talk to @fulltimegeek and open his eyes to the real world.

Bottom line is that all you guys need to realize that this place is going to die without new blood. You can take what you can, but the "take" is getting smaller every day. When I got here 10 months ago, Steem was $8... Now its $0.80 ... That means its lost 90%.

You and @fulltimegeek can fight all you want (and add in @haejin too), but the bottom line is that people like me are leaving in droves. You can fight for the scraps and maybe live another year, but I'm telling you this place was loved by many at one point. It was something that kept us coming back religiously. Now... not so much.

And if you think that limiting people's ability to be "social" (like @ned wants) is the answer, then you are in the "grab what you can" phase that he's in.

Its ok to do what you want. All of you. This is life and people should be free to make their own choices. But if you don't open your eyes and see what is happening below you, then you will wake up one day and say "wow, why didn't anyone tell me".

I suggest a different path...

I suggest that you and @fulltimegeek and others like you quit bickering and talk some fucking sense into @ned. Steemit was revolutionary... That made Steem attractive. If you turn it into another cryptocoin, then it will suffer the fate of the other 99% of alt coins out there. Think about what makes Steem special, and you guys have the answers if you focus on what your competitive advantages are.

Good luck to all... I'm out.. Thanks for listening to those that got this far!

Hey, @fulltimegeek... @berniesanders wants me to ask you to open your eyes to the real world.

There. That oughta do it.

.

There's this moron, let's call him @fulltimegeek, who believes that people should only be able to use their stake to upvote others and not use their stake to reward themselves.

Count me in too

Dumbass. As we've seen, nobody is going to buy Steem to upvote everyone else, that's fucking stupid.

But, but, spread the wealth...man....

An active player in the social game? You REALLY think I care about the social aspect of this blockchain?

I assure you, I don't.

That’s... Sad

https://steemit.com/photography/@berniesanders/take-a-photo-right-now-and-share-it

200 hundred people engaging and sharing photos. Seemingly having fun. Not a lot of posts on trending have 200 non-bot comments engaging. Why target you? I could name drop people who self vote their content with delegated SP which they don't even own, and no one ever says a word.

You're just an easy target for these "Steemit Heroes" like @fulltimegeek who play Batman to their fanboys.

And God knows your VP has been used to moderate the community and the pool in the past.

Will you and bernie please talk to each other, and sort this out without flags? As there simply are no winners in a flag war, and as I respect you both for very different reasons, I do not like seeing you try to destroy each other, not when you both give a lot to the community in different ways.

It is good to talk, and I am sure you could work it out that way, without the need of a long drawn out flag war. (just a thought)

Better than your penis. Lucky me! No, but seriously. I'm friendly to the only one of you big shots who's ever been nice to me back on this damn platform. Sue me.

Someone also call the No Fun Allowed Police. They have a case again on Steemit. This isn't supposed to be a fun social media platform, this is supposed to be SUPER SERIOUS.

Seriosity killed the cat.

He's super triggered right now.

Self-voting is so NOT COOL man! (Even though I get 100+ comments on most posts...)

Awe, you're SO cute when you're butthurt!! Who pissed in your cornflakes today??

Yea, he just doesn't like my @xxxxxxxxxx account, but he also doesn't know what it's going to be used for.

I just don't see how ANYONE who claims to care about Steem can not support funding of development from the reward pool. Our witnesses certainly aren't doing shit...

Keep posting shit like you always do and reward yourself. Who cares.

Freedom means your free to do whatever you want as long as you're not causing harm to others or infringing upon their rights.

I am totally appreciate your post..

Yeah @berniesanders this guy is so triggered. Like to read your post.

Right Sir,,I think this is funny..

Hope...in December STEEM will go high...

This is really so funny..

Ha ha...not bad...keep moving forward...

It's great to read your posts and your undoubted abilities about this platform. I like to follow each of your posts @berniesanders 🙏

Great post sir. Keep it up dear . Go on @berniesanders

keep it up. Like your post.

I'm glad to know it again...

Unfortunately freedom includes the freedom to do supid things.

Excellent funny!

ummm...

As an investor who is not a prolific blogger.

In current STEEM ecosystem you have to either upvote your content or delegate to bid bots in order to protect yourself from inflation.

The day other Dapps come online who offer comparable ROI% maybe will be the day this investor strategy can change.

That's just me though.

Thank you sir,for your post.
Fun always fun.....

Why don't you combine the hundreds of accounts you made to abuse the ByteBall airdrop to make one massive account...

This is drama within drama!

Dramaception!

shirtception.jpg

How exactly did that hurt steem?

Is that a serious question? As if the cryptoshpere isn't connected? Who's going to want to airdrop us now?

I have seen a lot of air drops and coin pumping since byteball in trending.
